Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Identify the bid requirement both technical and commercial to prepare a compliant bid
Prepare and submit request for information to the client / consultant to clarify any ambiguity in the bid request and document
Prepare request for quotation to the suppliers / sub-contractors to obtain specified material or service quote
Compare and negotiate the suppliers’ quote to select the most competitive quote to be used in the rate build up
Examine the drawing details / specification to include in the rate
Delegate draftsmen for quantity take off to cross check the BOQ quantities and schedules
Prepare and combine the cost estimate. Ensure the full scope is covered or proper qualification is included
Conduct site visit when required and consider any cost to be added to the tender
Attend pre / post tender meeting and capable to prepare a VE bids
Desired Candidate Profile
Minimum 5 years’ experience in Estimation
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering / Estimation from a recognized University preferred
Passionate team player and driven to exceed results
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Bold personality, strong analytical, interpersonal and presentation skills preferred
