Responsibilities

• Analyze project requirements and clients needs to develop accurate estimation models.


• Research and evaluate PLC technologies used in industrial automation projects.


• Create detailed cost estimates considering materials, labor, and technical specifications.


• Collaborate with project managers to align estimates with project timelines and deliverables.


• Maintain a database of estimation records and historical project data for reference.


• Communicate with vendors and suppliers to obtain precise pricing for project components.


• Review project drawings and technical documents to aid accurate estimation processes.


• Participate in pre-bid meetings and site visits to gather essential project insights.


• Adjust project estimates based on changes in scope or materials as necessary.


• Present and justify cost estimates to senior management and potential clients.


• Ensure all estimates adhere to industry standards and regulatory requirements.


• Monitor project execution to align actual costs with estimated budgets effectively.

Requirements

• Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.


• Proven experience in estimation, specifically within PLC and industrial automation domains.


• Strong understanding of PLC programming and industrial machinery operations.


• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills for creating detailed cost estimates.


• Proficiency in estimation software and tools commonly used in industrial projects.


• Effective communication skills to interact with clients and internal teams professionally.


• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines without compromising accuracy.


• Familiarity with industry regulations and standards influencing project estimates.


• Experience in managing project budgets and effectively tracking cost variances.


• Strong attention to detail to ensure all aspects of estimation are thoroughly considered.
