Job Title: Estimator

Job Purpose:

To prepare accurate cost estimates and pricing for interior fit-out, joinery, and MEP works. The Estimator will analyze drawings, specifications, and tender documents to determine the scope of work, material requirements, labor costs, and timelines, ensuring competitive yet profitable pricing for all projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review tender drawings, specifications, and BOQs to understand project scope and requirements.
• Prepare detailed quantity take-offs for civil, joinery, gypsum, ceiling, flooring, and MEP works.
• Request, evaluate, and compare quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Prepare cost breakdowns, rate analyses, and final estimates for management review.
• Coordinate with the Design, Procurement, and Project teams to validate quantities and specifications.
• Prepare technical and commercial bid submissions.
• Assist in value engineering and cost optimization strategies.
• Maintain an updated database of material prices, labor rates, and vendor contacts.
• Support project handover and assist in budget monitoring during execution.
• Attend client meetings and clarifications during tender finalization when required.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil / Interior Design / Architecture / Quantity Surveying or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in interior fit-out estimation in the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of materials, finishes, and MEP integration in commercial interiors.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and estimation software (Candy / PlanSwift preferred).
• Excellent analytical, mathematical, and negotiation skills.
• Attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
