Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Analyze project plans, specifications, and other documentation to prepare accurate cost estimates for civil, structural, and fit-out projects.
- Conduct thorough site visits to assess existing conditions, identify potential challenges, and gather relevant data for accurate cost forecasting.
- Prepare detailed quantity takeoffs, utilizing relevant software and tools to measure and calculate material quantities and labor requirements.
- Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes, ensuring competitive pricing and adherence to project specifications.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Possesses a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Holds relevant certifications such as AACE International Certified Cost Professional (CCP) or similar, demonstrating professional competency.
- Demonstrates a minimum of 5 years of proven experience in estimating for civil, structural, and/or fit-out projects.
- Exhibits a strong understanding of local building codes, regulations, and construction practices.
