Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
POSITION SUMMARY: Looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Estimator with hands – on experience in Kitchen Cabinets, Wardrobes, Vanity cabinets. Experience in joinery works, wall cladding, office fit-outs, etc. will add value. An ideal candidate will know how to extract requirements from drawing specifications and prepare accurate estimates to ensure the best value for both the Company and the Clients. Should be a good Team Player as the person has to work closely with Sales/ Design/ Production and Execution Teams.
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Review Architectural Drawings and Specification sheets to determine Project Requirements
• Source and evaluate materials to ensure cost efficiency and quality compliance.
• Negotiate effectively with Suppliers / Subcontractors to obtain competitive prices/ payment terms and timely delivery of materials
• Conduct site visits to take accurate measurements to match the drawings
• Develop and maintain a database of Suppliers and materials with options
• Work closely with Sales / Design / Production and Execution Teams to make sure the requirements of all are taken care of.
• Wherever necessary, provide value engineering solutions to optimize costs without compromising Quality.
• Prepare and submit Tenders with all required documents within the prescribed time .
• Keep track of Industry trends, price fluctuations, new materials or technics to enhance cost efficiency.
Desired Candidate Profile
Educational Qualification:
Bachelors Degree / Diploma in Quantity Surveying / Civil Engineering. Knowledge of Wood Technology will be an advantage.
Years of Experience:
3 years of Local experience in Kitchen Cabinets, Wardrobes and Vanity both Commercial & Residential – Experience in other Interior & Joinery work, will be a plus point. Job specific skills:
