Job Description

Key responsibilities

• Cost estimation:

Prepare detailed cost estimates for signage, fabrication, and printing projects, including labor, material, and time requirements.

• Technical review:

Analyze project drawings, specifications, and requirements to determine the scope and necessary materials.

• Supplier and subcontractor liaison:

Source quotes and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors for materials and services.

• Proposal and bid preparation:

Generate quotations, Bills of Quantities (BOQs), and tender documents for clients and consultants.

• Collaboration:

Work closely with sales, business development, design, and production teams to ensure accurate and competitive pricing.

• Cost control:

Track project costs, compare them to estimates, and identify cost-saving opportunities.

• Data management:

Maintain historical cost data to support future bids and cost planning.

• Client interaction:

Attend client meetings and site visits as needed to gather information and provide expertise.

Required skills and qualifications

• Experience:

Proven experience in cost estimation for signage and fabrication projects is essential, with some roles specifying 3+ years.
