Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Prepare accurate and timely cost estimates for pricing requirements. Carefully study inquiries and clarify specifications. Identify cost-effective planning by analyzing materials and processes. Collaborate with production and other departments to determine cost elements. Consult with sales, vendors, and personnel to formulate estimates and resolve issues. Perform calculations manually and using software. Analyze materials, time, machine labor, and methods to create effective quotes. Develop knowledge of available materials and identify cost-saving opportunities. Maintain standard procedures for estimating. Conduct job cost analysis.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Possess a Bachelor's degree in Printing Technology, Graphic Communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Hold certifications in estimating software or printing-related processes, which can be highly advantageous.
  • Demonstrate a minimum of 5 years of experience in estimating for offset printing, with a proven track record.
  • Exhibit a strong understanding of the offset printing process, including prepress, press operation, and post-press finishing.
