Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Create and optimize designs for various types of heat exchangers (e.g., shell-and-tube, plate, and air-cooled).
Perform detailed thermal and mechanical calculations to ensure performance and durability.
Utilize specialized design software such as SolidWorks and AutoCAD for modelling, simulation, and preparing technical drawings and data sheets.
Develop and review material specifications, prepare requisitions, and evaluate vendor quotations.
Ensure all designs and equipment strictly comply with industry codes, company standards, and client requirements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (R&D, production, and quality) to support prototype testing and product improvement.
Provide technical support during manufacturing and installation stages to resolve design or performance issues.
Desired Candidate Profile
Education: Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics Engineering.
Experience: 1 3 years of relevant experience in the engineering industry, preferably in:
- Fabrication or design of heat exchangers
- HVAC system
- Home appliances (e.g., refrigerators)
- Oil & Gas or thermal process equipment sectors
- Proficiency in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and thermal design software is required.
- Strong understanding of ASME, TEMA, or other relevant design standards.
