Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Bachelor’s Degree in Event Management or Communications
- Over 7 years of experience managing large-scale events within higher education or government sectors
- Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro for event promotion
- Skilled in hybrid event platforms (Microsoft Teams, Zoom Events)
- Experienced with AR/VR tools for interactive event engagement
- Familiar with UAE National Media Council guidelines and ADEK event protocols
- Trained in ISO 20121 (Sustainable Event Management)
- Knowledge of GDPR/PDPL compliance
- Fluent in English
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in event planning and management, demonstrating a proven track record of successful event execution.
- Experience within the hospitality industry or in an organization with a strong customer service focus.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
- Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, negotiate contracts, and oversee vendor relationships effectively.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken) is essential; proficiency in additional languages is a significant advantage.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail and a proactive approach to challenges.
