JOB LOCATION : Sultanate of Oman
Job Description:

Developing events ideas to proposals, to actual projects with clear deliverables
Planning all details pertaining events projects, including finance, staff, customer relations, supplier relations, time management, and quality assurance.
Delivering events on time, within budget, that (exceeds) expectations
Setting, communicating and maintaining timelines and priorities on every project
Communicating, maintaining and developing client relationships
Managing supplier relationships
Managing operational and administrative functions to ensure specific projects are delivered efficiently
Providing leadership, motivation, direction and support to the events team
Working hands-on on site inspections with close follow-up and project managing events
Ensuring excellent customer service and quality delivery

Desired Skills and Experience:
A minimum of 5 10 years of experience in High-Level Event Planning and Management with focus on business/technical conference management. Adequate knowledge of subject-matter areas such as Socio-Economics, Strategy, Organizational Development, and HR Development will be a plus.

The candidate shall possess the following qualifications:

Relevant university degree
Project Management solid background (PMP certified will be given priority)
Superior communication skills both in Arabic and English
Advanced organizational skills
Works efficiently under pressure and able to commit to deadlines
Presentable with excellent people skills
Team player with ability to lead and motivate staff
