Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Conceptualize and develop event themes and concepts that align with client objectives and target audience interests, ensuring originality and memorability.
  • Manage and negotiate contracts with vendors, including venues, caterers, and entertainment, securing the best possible rates and ensuring high-quality services.
  • Create detailed event budgets and manage expenses, tracking costs and ensuring adherence to financial guidelines while maximizing value.
  • Develop comprehensive event timelines and schedules, coordinating all event elements to ensure smooth execution and on-time delivery.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required, a bachelor's degree in hospitality, event management, or a related field is preferred.
  • Possesses relevant certifications such as Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) or Certified Special Events Professional (CSEP) are advantageous.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in event planning or a related field, with a proven track record of successful event execution.
  • Experience in the hospitality or entertainment industry is highly desirable, demonstrating an understanding of event dynamics.
