Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Operate excavators to perform digging, lifting, and grading tasks with precision and safety, ensuring compliance with project specifications.
  • Conduct pre-operation inspections and routine maintenance checks to ensure equipment is in optimal working condition and to prevent breakdowns.
  • Collaborate with site supervisors and other crew members to plan excavation sequences and ensure efficient workflow on the job site.
  • Interpret blueprints and project plans to accurately execute earthmoving operations while adhering to safety regulations.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional vocational training in heavy equipment operation is preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience operating excavators on construction or excavation sites, demonstrating proficiency in various tasks.
  • Certification from a recognized heavy equipment operator program, ensuring adherence to industry standards and safety protocols.
  • Experience working in diverse environments, including residential, commercial, and industrial projects, showcasing versatility.
