Position Overview
This Executive Director role leads the Privileged Clients Group, managing a high-value Corporate and Investment Banking portfolio across the UAE and Middle East. The position drives strategic growth, oversees complex financial transactions, and maintains strong relationships with major corporations, government entities, and influential clients. The role ensures business expansion, regulatory alignment, and delivery of high-impact financial solutions across the region.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic plans to grow corporate and investment banking operations in the UAE and Middle East
- Lead and motivate a team of senior bankers, ensuring high performance and career development
- Oversee mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, structured finance, and other complex financial transactions
- Build and sustain relationships with key clients including major corporates, government bodies, and high-profile individuals
- Collaborate across business units to identify cross-selling opportunities and maximize revenue generation
- Ensure adherence to local and international regulations and internal risk policies
- Represent the bank at industry events, high-level forums, and strategic meetings
- Provide strategic insights to senior leadership and the board on market developments
- Identify emerging sector trends and recommend business strategies
- Guide client relationship teams to deliver tailored solutions across banking and investment products
- Support long-term planning and alignment with the bank s corporate objectives

Desired Candidate Profile
Master s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or CFA preferred
Minimum 15 years of experience in corporate and investment banking, with strong leadership background
Proven success in driving business growth and managing high-performing teams
Extensive knowledge of CIB products, structures, and market best practices
Deep understanding of global markets, regional banking dynamics, and UAE economic environment
Strong client relationship management skills with experience working with C-level executives
Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving capability
Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Thorough knowledge of UAE and regional financial regulations
Fluency in English; Arabic is an advantage
