Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Provide expert-level technical support and guidance for Juniper Session Smart Router (SSR) products.
- Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of Juniper SSR solutions for complex customer environments.
- Propose new features and advances in this technology and work closely with related product manager.
- Collaborate with product development teams to support the integration of future features, including custom encryption capabilities.
- Perform deep-level troubleshooting and root cause analysis for challenging network issues related to Juniper SSR.
- Develop and deliver technical training and documentation for internal teams and external customers.
- Act as a subject matter expert for Juniper SSR within the organization and to customers.
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in SD-WAN, networking, and security technologies, particularly those relevant to Juniper SSR.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor s degree in computer science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 8+ years of experience in network engineering, solution architecture, or technical consulting roles.
- Proven deep understanding and hands-on experience with Juniper Session Smart Router (SSR) products and technologies.
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, etc.) and network security principles.
- Experience with SD-WAN deployments and related technologies.
- Ability to perform in-depth troubleshooting and packet analysis.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master s degree in a relevant technical field.
- Juniper Networks certifications (e.g., JNCIE-SP, JNCIP-SP, JNCIS-SP) with a focus on routing and security.
- Experience with scripting or programming languages (e.g., Python) for network automation or custom solution development.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their networking services.
- Experience with custom encryption implementations or security protocol development.
- Prior experience in a customer-facing role, providing technical solutions and support.
