The focus will be on the design, construction, installation, implementation and on-going management of the Pavilions, Corporate zones and all the other activations that will make up Expo 2020.

We are looking for Senior Video Engineers to join our Expo 2020 team in Dubai:
Principle Duties and Responsibilities
Work as part of the team in the preparation, installation, testing of all video equipment.
Deal with all aspects of interfacing Audio Visual systems within the pavilion
This will encompass both hardware and software interfaces
Perform on-site commissioning and configuration programming in the systems and following/reviewing system schematics
Undertake installation of video equipment, AV products, wiring and other communications systems in a professional and tidy manner.
Mounting of displays, lining up projectors, LED equipment and more.
Wiring and tidying of wiring looms or singular cables so installed equipment is presentable and tidy.
Liaise with Project Engineer and Project Manager on Project technical aspects, and an ability to liaise with the client or main contractor as necessary.
Flexible approach to project changes on site - escalating changes and variations to the Project Manager
Carry out routine maintenance to ensure the equipment is kept in a good, safe and efficient working condition.
Operate within the current Health and Safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment, reporting any Health and Safety issues to the Head of Department
Install and manage a variety of video signal and formats and their distribution to projection, displays and video wall systems.
Skills and Attributes
3+ year’s previous experience in a similar role is essential.
Ability to work as part of a team and interact with a diverse peer group in a deadline driven environment.
Excellent understanding of basic video principles such as signal path types and formats.
Understanding of Ethernet Network theory and DMX.
Knowledge of the following is desirable:
Digital Video Systems and Analog Video.
HD Camera Systems.
Installation, configuration and dismantle of LED walls
A good understanding of:
Electrical safety at work
Safe working practices
Hold a current Health and Safety qualification, IOSH or above desirable.
Methodical and analytical approach to work with good fault-finding skills.
Competent in the translation of data from specifications and plans.
