Roles & Responsibilities


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide cover teaching for Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) classes, following planned lessons and adapting to the needs of young learners.
  • Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment that supports children s social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.
  • Support the implementation of the EYFS curriculum alongside school policies and guidelines.
  • Observe and assess pupils' progress, providing feedback to the class teacher and leadership team as appropriate.
  • Maintain classroom management and ensure children s wellbeing and safety at all times.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and guardians to support children s learning and development.

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor s degree in Early Childhood Education, Education, or a related field.

  • Experience working with children in an Early Years setting, preferably in an international school environment.
  • Understanding of the EYFS curriculum framework and child development principles.
  • Strong classroom management skills suitable for young children.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with children, parents, and staff.
  • Patience, creativity, and a nurturing approach to early years education.
  • A current teaching qualification or certification is preferred.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
