Job duties but not limited to

Prepares and sets up pipes prior to welding with acceptable welding preparations in conformity with the Company's standards and practices.

Carries out the fabrication of piping systems - both on site and Central Workshops. Fabricates pipework from detailed drawings and measures up complex pipework on site or in Central Workshops. Fabricates replacements from his own measurements.

Performs assigned tasks using various types of pipefitting tools and equipment, such as cropping machines, power saws, acetylene burning gear both hand-held and semi-automatic machines, grinding machines both pedestal and angle grinders, H &M pipe beveling machines, setting up clamps, Wachs cutters for cold cutting, etc.

Pressure tests piping systems on completion of welding.

Carries out other maintenance tasks including the re-tubing of heat exchangers, operation of hot topping machine. This involves in Fabrication of Structural Jobs.

Provide and supervise the on-the-job Training for the UAE national Developees/trainees based on their training program.

Safeguard own Health and Safety, as well as that of the fellow employees, by paying attention to safe work practices, maintaining a safe work environment and complying with applicable HSE requirements.

Take action to INTERVENE and STOP any un-safe activity or non-compliance with HSE requirements,

if witnessed, and report the incident regardless of your position or that of the transgressor

Implement and comply with all relevant functional policies, processes, systems, Quality standards, procedures, to accomplish operational objectives.

Contribute to the identification of areas and opportunities for continuous improvement in the operating procedures and functional processes.

Provide inputs to prepare Section progress reports for Company Management.
