Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, isometric diagrams, and weld symbols.
- Cut, shape, and prepare SS, CS, and other metals using tools such as gas cutters, grinders, and saws.
- Fit and assemble components, such as pipes, plates, and structural steel parts, accurately as per project specifications.
- Measure, mark, and layout materials precisely based on design specifications.
- Verify dimensions using measuring tools like tape measures, calipers, micrometers, and levels.
- Align and assemble components to prepare them for welding or bolting.
- Ensure proper alignment and spacing to achieve desired fit and finish.
- Support field welders and ensure all assemblies are aligned before welding.
- Maintain and handle fabrication equipment such as bending machines, shears, grinders, and punches.
- Inspect fabricated components to ensure they meet project requirements.
Desired Candidate Profile
