Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Job Description: Project Planners are responsible for creating and maintaining project schedules, ensuring that all activities are properly planned and coordinated. This role involves working closely with project managers, technical teams, and other stakeholders to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop detailed project schedules and timelines for assigned projects.
• Monitor project progress and update schedules as necessary to reflect changes in scope or timeline.
• Collaborate with project managers to ensure that resources are allocated efficiently and that project milestones are met.
• Identify potential scheduling conflicts and work with project teams to resolve them.
• Provide regular updates on project schedules to stakeholders and management.
Key Result Areas (KRAs):
1. Schedule Development and Management
• KPI: Ensure 100% of project schedules are developed and approved on time.
• KPI: Achieve 95% adherence to project schedules across all assigned projects.
2. Collaboration and Coordination
• KPI: Achieve 90% or higher satisfaction score from project managers for schedule management and coordination.
• KPI: Resolve 85% of scheduling conflicts within 48 hours.
3. Resource Allocation and Optimization
• KPI: Ensure optimal resource allocation in 90% of projects.
• KPI: Identify and resolve 95% of resource-related scheduling issues proactively.
4. Reporting and Updates
• KPI: Provide 100% accurate and timely schedule updates to project stakeholders.
• KPI: Ensure that all schedule changes are communicated to relevant teams within 24 hours.
Desired Candidate Profile
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or related fields.
• 5 - 10 years of experience in project planning and scheduling.
• Proficiency in project management software, such as Primavera and MS Project.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
