Responsibilities
• Serves as the primary interface with the customer, Contracting Officer/Contracting Officer Representative and other designated Government officials through the term of the contract and related task orders.
• Ensures customer satisfaction by delivering quality service and effective solutions.
• Prepares and manages program budgets, schedules and archives all performance standards and matrix.
• Responsible for the performance of all OM&R work in the medical facilities.
• Manage the Fire Prevention and Protection Program IAW Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC) and applicable AFI's.
• Working knowledge of data systems to include Defense Medical Logistics Standard Support/Defense Medical Logistics-Enterprise Solutions (DMLSS/DML-ES).
• Reconcile of Real Property Records in DMLSS/DML-ES as required per AFI's standards.
• The HFM shall make every effort to safeguard the property from damage or loss.
• Implement policies that follow CHS standards.
• Coordinates with the customer, customer contractors, customer facilities and capabilities to ensure mutual, timely support.
• Establishes and maintains tracking process and procedures that will account for timely completion of all facility maintenance tasks.
• Shall escort all LN/OCN's should they be employed.
• Provides direction and guidance to CHS Facility staff.
• Plans and executes all contractual service requirements.
• After normal hours the HFM or alternate shall respond to the healthcare facility staff for emergency situations requiring their presence onsite within 15 20 minutes.
• Assists with the managing of day to day activities and prioritizing tasks.
• Operates personal computer to access e-mail, electronic calendars, and other basic office support software.
• Complies with all applicable CHS standards and guidelines.
• Attends and participates in a variety of meetings and task force groups to improve quality and outcomes, communicate issues, obtain approvals, resolve problems and maintain specific level of knowledge pertaining to new developments, new task efforts, and new policy requirements.
• Understand and adhere to all HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) regulations.
• Understand and adhere to all policies when using Government issues computer systems.
• Other duties as assigned by management
Job Requirements
• Must be a Certified Healthcare Facility Manager (CHFM) by the American Society of Healthcare Engineers (ASHE) or equivalent accrediting agency.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in inpatient/outpatient healthcare facility operations and maintenance.
• Experience supervising a diverse work force responsible for operations, maintenance and repair of commercial building infrastructure systems
• Must have experience and the ability to read and comprehend schematics, blue prints and shop drawings.
• Knowledge of codes to include, but not limited to, O&M tasks covered by the performance work statement, NFPA, Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) codes and standards and The Joint Commission for clinical accreditation.
• Shall have working knowledge and familiarity with current Environment of Care (EOC) standards for either healthcare or ambulatory healthcare occupancies, as required, by the work site.
Preferred Qualifications
• Must have a current US Passport.
• Must have a valid US Driver's License.
• Must sign a CHS Foreign Service Agreement (FSA) and is bound to the terms and conditions of the FSA.
• Must be able to attain a US Government Security Clearance as required by contract
• Attend DMLSS training as required.
• Shall be proficient in the ability to speak, write, and communicate in English.
• Shall demonstrate proficiency in the use of basic word processing programs and the CHS Medical Management Systems software.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
• Must be confirmed by a medical examination to be "medically and dentally fit" in accordance CHS Medical Readiness Guidelines and Policies and/or as dictated by the Client.
• No conditions that would prevent the wear of personal protective equipment; including protective mask, ballistic helmet, body armor and chemical/biological protective garments or conditions that would prevent the capability of donning, lifting or carrying of up to 70 lbs. of referenced gear while running to a bunker or protected area in the face of perceived or imminent danger.
• Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment.
