We are looking for a Female Arabic PRO who serves as the intermediate between patients, medical staff, nursing staff and visitors of a hospital or other medical facility. The primary goal of this profession is to ensure that the patients receive the best customer service experience by eliminating conflicts, communicating policies and educating staff members.
Provides patient relations service to preserve the hospital s image and to promote better patient relations.
Manages and coordinates activities involved in scheduling VIP patients booking and liaises with admitting and Out-Patient Department to ensure VIP patient handling is optimal.
Maintain relations with all hospital staff to ensure adequate provision of quality patient service and guest relations.
Escort patients and guests on formalization rounds of the hospital s facilities.
Provide follow-up and feedback on the results of analysis reports to the Patients Complaint Committee.
Assembles and complies fairly complex and confidential information or data and describes contents in a written report.
Submits a monthly report on patients complaints analysis and follow-up as well as receiving any complaint arising from IPD, OPD and ER department, and reports observations to the department concerned through Support Services Manager.
Reports any observable unprofessional or improper action from Housekeeping staff or porters to the supervisors of the concerned departments that reflect on the quality of service and the hospital s image.
Develops and recommends strategic and operational plan for Patients Relations Office.
Ensures a safe environment of care for all patients, families and guests.
Supports accreditation planning and preparation efforts for the achievement of the goals of Hospital.
Qualification & Experience:
Diploma / Bachelor s Degree or its equivalent
Minimum of two (2) recent years of experience as a medical transcriptionist in a Health Care facility.
Knowledge / Technical Skills:
Working knowledge of hospital/medical terminology.
Working knowledge of English language (writing, reading and speaking).
Current knowledge of office systems.
Working knowledge of clerical skills.
Must be highly ethical, detail conscious person.
Working knowledge of terminal digit, filing system helpful.
Personal Abilities / Competencies:
Good oral and written communication skills in Arabic and English language.
Strong interpersonal skills to maintain cooperative working relationships and team effort in achieving objectives.
Experience in dealing with public/providing customer service.
Medical terminology considered an asset.
Computer skills in word-processing and database management.
Confidentiality, tact and discretion when dealing with people.
Able to meet deadlines.
Good conflict resolution skills and able to work independently.
Ability to perform as a team member in a large multidisciplinary group.
