Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Provide therapeutic massage treatments, including deep tissue, sports massage, and other modalities, based on client needs and preferences to alleviate pain and improve well-being.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, adjusting techniques as needed to address specific client concerns and achieve desired outcomes to ensure client satisfaction.
Maintain detailed client records, documenting treatments, progress, and any relevant observations to track client progress and treatment effectiveness.
Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment, including sanitizing equipment and preparing treatment rooms to ensure client comfort and safety.
Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing excellent customer service and ensuring a positive experience to encourage repeat business and referrals.
Adhere to all ethical guidelines and professional standards of practice, including maintaining client confidentiality and respecting boundaries to uphold professional integrity.
Desired Candidate Profile
- High school diploma or equivalent is required, demonstrating a foundational level of education.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of hands-on experience in a massage therapy setting is preferred, showcasing practical experience and proficiency.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are crucial for building rapport and effectively interacting with clients.
- Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and kinesiology is necessary, enabling accurate assessment and effective treatment.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills are vital for managing appointments and maintaining a professional environment.
- Ability to maintain client confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards is non-negotiable, ensuring trust and professionalism.
