Looking for Social Media Manager
Job Description in summary:
Reporting to the head of Marketing and Social Media, you will be responsible for managing perceptions of many different demographic communities in the region.
You will develop and then implement plans and programs for Silkor to create awareness of, interest in and loyalty to specific services and products..
You will implement online community strategy, managing engagement and interactivity with the target audience as well as fostering community spirit.
You will deliver creative written content over the appropriate digital media.
Deliver clear strategic and operational plans for the creation of specific communities for Silkor based on
Monitor and grow specific digital communities by the use of social networking capabilities and careful
monitoring of responses
Deliver clear strategic and tactical objectives for single and multiple associated campaigns, for example
increasing followers and fans, and/or measurable changes in attitude, increasing sales or awareness for a specific service.
Deliver clear, implementable plans to achieve the objectives for specific campaigns, taking account of our
needs and budgets.
Continually stay up to date with developments in social networking and associated social media tools, trends
Market social media and increase literacy within the company.
Deliver corporate communication material in the form of creative copy including, but not limited to, press-
releases, web-site content, social networks content, taglines, slogans and promotional messages. The content will relate to specific projects and campaigns. Writing must be clear,
persuasive and original copy
Moderate all user generated content according to the moderation policy
Respond positively and creatively to management feedback creating, amending, revising or redeveloping in
Work as part of a team through participating actively in brainstorming of ideas and concepts on projects
across the whole marketing department.
Experiment with new and alternative ways to leverage social media activities (influencers, PR events, activation ideas, collaborations, online blogs, online magazines, etc)
Degree standard education.
A minimum of 3 years experience.
Proven creative writing skills
Clear written, oral and presentation skills.
Good interpersonal skills.
Proven ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Demonstrable ability to learn, understand and apply new techniques
Clear understanding and experience of customer service
Ability to build and maintain relationships
