Roles & Responsibilities
NEXTEL is looking for an experienced Fiber Optic Splicing Technician to join our growing telecom team. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in fiber splicing, testing, and network installation following DU and Etisalat standards. �
Responsibilities
Perform fiber optic cable splicing (fusion & mechanical) Conduct fiber testing using OTDR and Power Meter Install, terminate, and maintain fiber optic networks (ISP & OSP) Handle FPP, ODF, IDF, MDF termination works Read and understand fiber drawings and network layouts Ensure high-quality workmanship and safety compliance Coordinate with site engineers and project supervisors Maintain proper documentation of work completed
Desired Candidate Profile
