Roles & Responsibilities

Parsons are seeking an experienced Field Engineer (Civil) - Saudi National to oversee on-site construction activities for a major airfield development project. The role involves supervising works, ensuring compliance with drawings and specifications, coordinating with contractors, and supporting quality, safety, and schedule objectives.

What You'll Be Doing;

  • Monitor and supervise day-to-day site activities related to airfield, infrastructure, or building works.
  • Ensure construction activities are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and method statements.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors to ensure works are executed safely and efficiently.
  • Conduct site inspections and support QA/QC teams in ensuring workmanship meets project standards.
  • Identify and report non-conformances, assisting in corrective action implementation.
  • Verify materials and installations comply with approved submittals.
  • Coordinate with design, planning, and HSE teams to resolve site issues.
  • Track site progress and provide daily or weekly reports to the project management team.
  • Support inspections, tests, and approvals with consultants and authorities.
  • Enforce compliance with project HSE requirements on site.
  • Participate in toolbox talks, risk assessments, and safety inspections.
  • Support safe execution of works in airside and operationally sensitive environments.

What Required Skills You'll Bring;

  • Bachelor s degree in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of field engineering experience on infrastructure or large-scale construction projects
  • Experience in airport, airfield, or transport projects is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, drawings, and site coordination.
  • Familiarity with QA/QC and HSE procedures.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working in live or operational airport environments.
  • Familiarity with inspection and testing processes.
  • Knowledge of construction management systems and reporting tools.
  • Willingness to work in demanding site conditions.

Desired Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will have 5 years of experience working on large infrastructure or airport-related projects.
