Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Execute vessel loading and discharging operations including hose connections, jetty activities, sampling, gauging, and continuous monitoring as per supervisor instructions.

  • Perform ITT / PLT and truck loading & unloading operations, ensuring correct line-up, safe hose handling, and accurate sampling and gauging procedures.

  • Operate forklift equipment safely and efficiently for material handling and terminal operations.

  • Support maintenance teams by assisting in in-house maintenance activities and coordinating with third-party contractors during shutdowns or repairs.

  • Maintain effective communication with supervisors, providing timely updates on operations, reporting field observations, and escalating issues when required.

  • Ensure terminal cleanliness and upkeep, maintaining equipment and surroundings to meet safety and operational standards.

  • Strictly adhere to HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) policies, procedures, and permit-to-work systems to ensure a safe working environment.


Desired Candidate Profile

  • Diploma / ITI / Technical certification in Mechanical, Chemical, or related field (preferred).

  • 3–6 years of experience in oil & gas / petrochemical terminal operations.

  • Strong understanding of loading/unloading procedures, tank farm operations, and safety protocols.

  • Valid forklift operating experience/license is an advantage.

  • Demonstrates high safety awareness with strict adherence to HSE standards.

  • Reliable, disciplined, and able to follow instructions with precision and accountability.

  • Good communication skills with the ability to report observations clearly and promptly.

  • Team player with a proactive attitude, willingness to support maintenance activities, and commitment to continuous learning and performance improvement.
