Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
The Finance and Administration Officer plays a crucial role in maintaining the financial health and administrative efficiency of an organization. This position entails managing financial operations, including budgeting, accounting, and reporting, while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. Additionally, the officer will oversee administrative tasks to support the smooth functioning of the organization. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with different teams. As a key member of the administrative team, the Finance and Administration Officer ensures that financial processes are sound and administrative duties are executed efficiently, contributing to the organization's overall success.
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the daily financial operations of the organization effectively.
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial reports and documentation regularly.
- Develop and manage annual budgets in alignment with organizational goals.
- Coordinate and conduct financial audits to ensure compliance with standards.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes and ensure timely transactions.
- Monitor cash flow, forecast revenues, and manage expenditure efficiently.
- Implement and maintain financial policies and procedures diligently.
- Collaborate with external auditors and financial consultants as needed.
- Supervise administrative staff and ensure efficient office operations consistently.
- Manage procurement processes, vendor relationships, and contract negotiations.
- Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements consistently.
- Contribute to strategic planning and organizational decision-making processes actively.
Requirements
- Bachelor s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in finance and administrative roles.
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations and accounting principles is essential.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office suite required.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills needed.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities necessary.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with team collaboration ability.
