Job Description

The Finance Associate plays a critical role in maintaining the financial health and integrity of the organization. This position is responsible for supporting various finance functions, including accounts payable and receivable, assisting with budget preparations, conducting financial analysis, and preparing financial reports. The Finance Associate works closely with other members of the finance team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and compliance with all internal and external regulations. This role demands a person equipped with analytical skills, attention to detail, and a thorough understanding of financial processes. The ideal candidate will be motivated and eager to grow within the finance department, showing a keen interest in tracking and optimizing financial performance.


Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation and management of budgets and forecasts.
  • Process, verify, and reconcile invoices and financial documentation accurately.
  • Support the monthly financial close process by preparing various entries.
  • Create and analyze financial reports to detect discrepancies and recommend solutions.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations, policies, and procedures consistently.
  • Prepare detailed reports and documents outlining financial data and key performance indicators.
  • Assist with audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations as required.
  • Maintain updated records and detailed spreadsheets for all financial transactions.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable to ensure prompt and accurate payment processes.
  • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to resolve finance-related queries.
  • Participate in cross-departmental projects to support organizational financial strategies.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field is required.
  • At least 1-3 years of experience in finance or accounting roles preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software is desirable.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with integrity and confidentiality.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential.
