The Finance Business Partner & PMO (Project Management Office) is a dynamic role that bridges the gap between finance and project management. This position is pivotal in ensuring financial insights are integrated into project planning and execution, optimizing both fiscal outcomes and project effectiveness. The Finance Business Partner & PMO collaborates closely with project managers to develop robust financial models, monitor budgets, and analyze project costs. They provide strategic insights to enhance decision-making and ensure alignment with financial goals. This role requires strong financial acumen, sharp analytical skills, and the ability to communicate complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders. Responsibilities
- Collaborate with project managers to develop comprehensive project budgets and forecasts.
- Monitor project financials to ensure budget compliance and address variances proactively.
- Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making processes.
- Facilitate the integration of financial considerations in project planning and execution phases.
- Engage with stakeholders to communicate financial risks and opportunities on projects.
- Create detailed financial reports, highlighting key metrics and financial performance indicators.
- Ensure consistent tracking and monitoring of project-related financial transactions.
- Support project teams by identifying financial risks and suggesting mitigation strategies.
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting principles.
- Assist in the preparation of project financial statements and progress reports.
- Conduct financial audits of projects to ensure integrity and transparency of financial data.
- Collaborate with finance and project teams to streamline financial processes and reporting.
Requirements
- Bachelor s degree in finance, accounting, or related field is required.
- Proven experience in a finance business partner or project management role.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Excellent communication skills to present financial information to diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in financial modeling and using project management tools.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies and financial principles.
- Ability to work collaboratively and drive results within cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Experience with financial software and ERP systems is a plus.
