Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis, specifically tailored to the unique revenue streams and cost structures of a hospitality environment.
  • Develop and implement financial controls and procedures to safeguard assets and ensure compliance with industry-specific regulations, such as those related to food and beverage costing.
  • Lead the monthly and annual financial closing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in reporting, with a strong understanding of hospitality-specific accounting practices.
  • Manage cash flow, working capital, and vendor relationships, optimizing financial performance within the context of fluctuating occupancy rates and seasonal demand.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Possesses a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, demonstrating a strong academic foundation.
  • Holds a professional accounting certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) to validate financial expertise.
  • Exhibits a minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in finance, with at least 3 years specifically within the hospitality sector, showcasing industry familiarity.
  • Demonstrates a deep understanding of hospitality accounting software and systems (e.g., Opera, Micros), enabling efficient financial operations.
