Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated, hands-on Finance Manager to join our team in DRC. This role will act as a key advisor to operational and commercial leaders, managing clearing and, insights and analysis to support strategic decision-making and drive business performance.

The ideal candidate will be a proactive and collaborative individual with a strong business acumen and a passion for the logistics industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Management & Strategic Oversight

  • Manage financial operations across the Group s customs clearing, rail, and logistics activities.

  • Ensure the accuracy of financial reporting and contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and business performance analysis.

  • Develop and implement financial strategies to enhance profitability and operational efficiency.
    

• Accounting, Compliance & Risk Management

  • Ensure full compliance with local tax legislation, OHADA standards, and international reporting frameworks such as IFRS.

  • Oversee cash flow, treasury operations, and financial risk mitigation practices.

  • Serve as the main point of contact for auditors, banks, tax authorities, and regulatory entities.

  • Maintain and strengthen internal financial controls to safeguard the Group s assets
    

• Financial & Operational Support for Group Entities

  • Lead the financial structuring, cost control, and reporting for the customs clearing and rail companies.

  • Support the logistics division in financial modeling, investment planning, and pricing strategy.

  • Develop and monitor financial control frameworks to ensure consistent performance across all supported operations.

Role Requirements

• Bachelor s degree in finance, economics, business or a related field (CPA, ACCA, or CIMA certification may be preferred)

• 8+ years of minimum experience in a Financial Analyst/controller role.

• Proven experience in a financial/business controller role, preferably within the logistics / transport industry.

• Must be French speaking

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP Systems.

• Proactive mindset with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
