Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Budgeting & Forecasting (FP&A) • Lead annual budgeting and monthly rolling forecasts (P&L & Cash Flow) • Deliver variance analysis with clear action plans • Develop retail driver-based models (NOB, ATV, GP%, shrinkage, labor%) • Publish weekly flash reports and management dashboards • Support pricing, promotions, and store performance analysis • Prepare scenario planning (Base/Optimistic/Conservative) Credit Control & Receivables • Manage credit policy, onboarding & DSO monitoring • Lead collections, aging reviews & cash flow discussions • Ensure VAT-compliant invoicing and resolve disputes • Prepare ECL provisions (IFRS 9) and bad-debt recommendations Process & Compliance • Strengthen SOPs and internal controls • Support VAT and Corporate Tax compliance • Train operations teams on finance KPIs
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; a Master's degree or MBA is preferred.
Professional certifications such as CA/ACCA/CMA (or finalist) that demonstrate advanced financial knowledge and expertise.
Knowledge of IFRS (incl. IFRS 9 basics) and UAE VAT; Corporate Tax exposure is a plus
A minimum of 5-10 years of progressive finance experience in a corporate or similar environment, showcasing leadership capabilities.
Experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting within the industry of work relevant to the organization.
