Job Description
Creates, coordinates and evaluates the Financial Programs and supporting information systems of the company to include budgeting and finance controls
Approves and coordinates changes and improvements in automated financial and management information systems for the company;
Ensures compliance with local, Owner s and Corporate budgetary reporting requirements;
Oversees the approval and processing of revenue, expenditure and position control documents, department budgets, mass Payroll updates, ledger and account maintenance and data entry;
Develops and implements finance, accounting, billing and auditing procedures;
Establishes and maintains appropriate internal control safeguards;
Interacts with other Managers to provide consultative support to planning initiatives through financial and management information analyses, reports and recommendations;
Ensures record systems are maintained in accordance with generally accepted auditing standards following IAS/IFRS
Support the implementation of strategic business, projects, programs and systems;
Assists and evaluate the necessary licenses and insurances requirement to ensure the smooth running of the business;
Analyses cash flow, cost controls and expenses to guide the Senior Management;
Analyses financial statements to pinpoint potential weak areas;
Establishes and implements short and long range departmental goals, objectives, policies and operating procedures;
Oversees financial management of the site operations to include developing Financial Policies and Procedures;
Assess the benefits of all prospective contracts, their financial implications, and advises the Senior Management Team on programmatic design and implementation matters;
Assists in performing all tasks necessary to achieve the organization s mission and helps execute staff with succession and growth plans;
Trains the Finance Department and peers on raising awareness and knowledge of financial management matters
Works with the GM on the Strategic Vision including fostering and cultivating stakeholder relationships on corporate level as well as assisting in the development and negotiation of contracts;
Participates in optimizing the current activity to maximize the revenue, drafts prospective programmatic budgets supporting Department Heads to meet their long and short terms business objectives
Ensures adequate controls are installed and that substantiating documentation is approved and available such that all purchases may pass internal, external and Governmental Audits;
Oversees all purchasing and payroll activity for staff and external parties;
Develops and maintains systems of internal controls to safeguard financial assets of the organization. Oversees the coordination and activities of independent auditors ensuring all audit issues are resolved and all compliance issues are met and the preparation of the annual Financial Statements are in accordance with the applicable Legislation and other required supplementary schedules and information;
Attends Committee meetings including being the lead staff member on the Audit/Finance Committee;
Monitors banking activities of the organization;
Ensures adequate cash flow to meet the organization s needs and Treasury management;
Serves as one of the Trustees and oversees administration and financial reporting of the organization s Saving Plan;
Oversees the production of monthly reports including reconciliations with financial statements and cash flow projections for use by the Senior Management, as well as Board of Directors;
Assists in the design, implementation and timely calculations of salaries and staff benefits;
Oversees Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
Oversees Business Insurance Plans and Health Care Coverage analysis;
Supervises staff including regular progress reviews and plans for improvement;

Soft skills:
Communication: English is essential: Arabic is an advantage;
Excellent communications skills both written and verbal;
Flexibility: willing to work long hours and weekends if required (periodically);

b. Technical skills:
Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting and cost control principles including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles;
Knowledge of automated Financial and Accounting Reporting Systems;
In-depth knowledge of all Accepted Accounting Principles, Program Regulations and Compliance Requirements as well as Code of Federal Regulations inherent to the Industry;
General understanding of the UAE Labour Law, Legal Codes, Court Procedures, Precedents, Government Regulations, Executive Orders, Agency Rules and the Democratic Political Process;
Knowledge of Economic and Accounting Principles and Practices, the Financial Markets, Banking and the analysis and reporting of financial data. Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, management of files and records, designing forms and other office procedures and terminology.
