Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Manage petty cash float, process approved payments, track balances, and ensure accountability with receipts and supporting documents.
  • Oversee financial documentation related to inventory movement, stock counts, reconciliations, and internal controls.
  • Support finance-related asset tracking in line with our Asset Management Policy.
  • Ensure financial records (physical and digital) are complete, organized, and audit-ready.
  • Work with Operations, HR, and other departments to ensure financial processes are efficient and aligned with organizational goals.
  • Stay informed of changes in financial regulations and proactively recommend improvements to local finance processes.
  • Perform other finance-related tasks as assigned by the Finance Manager.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Full integrity, discretion, and trustworthiness in handling financial information.
  • Experience working with NGOs or social enterprises.
  • Familiarity with QuickBooks or similar accounting systems.
  • Previous involvement in multi-location operations or field office support.
