Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Recommend improvements to departmental policy and support in the implementation of procedures and controls.
  • Support in Month end cycle including posting on accruals and preparation of monthly financial reports.
  • Maintain accurate financial records, including journal entries, general ledger, and account reconciliations.
  • Record transactions in ERP.
  • Process payments (vendor payments, government payments, insurance and other business-related payments (office rent, utilities etc.)
  • Ensure the daily tasks are conducted in an organized manner.
  • Prepare supplier account reconciliation on a regular basis.
  • Prepare reconciliation between divisions and identify the variances.
  • Perform bank reconciliations and ensure timely recording of transactions.
  • Identify and accurately record payments that are subject to Value added Tax (VAT) and Withholding tax.
  • Support internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and support in addressing audit findings.
  • Maintain and update insurance related records and provide necessary information as and when requested.
  • Prepare financial reports and ad-hoc analysis as requested.
  • Contribute to the implementation and optimization of financial systems and software including ERP.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Perform other job-related projects and/or assignments that he/she might be asked to do by his/her direct supervisor/manager for special assistance that are often not mentioned in this job description as they arise under specific circumstances

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor s degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Strong Knowledge of ZATCA Rules & Regulations, GAAP and IFRS.
  • MS office applications e.g. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Analytical skills
  • Interpersonal & communication skills
  • Oracle/ERP
  • Ability to build and maintain strong cross-functional working relationships
  • Attention to detail
