Job Summary & ResponsibilitiesOur client is a global FMCG brand operating in all countries around the world. On their behalf we are now looking forexperienced Financial Controller. We are only looking for Arab nationality candidates for this position.
The Financial Controller reports to the CFO and supports the CFO to establish & implement systems that culminate in the sound financial health at ORC. To achieve organizational goals and implementation of best in class control systems & risk management policies designed to preserve the company assets and effective monitoring and control of trade receivables & Inventory.
-Active participation in the preparation of Annual Business Plans and leading the revenue & inventory part of the AOP (together with the Financial Planning Manager)
-Responsible for strategizing, forward planning & control, to optimally manage Organization s Financial Resources in the areas of Credit control & Inventory controls.
-Manage the capital requests and budgeting process
-Ensure timely submission of info to all the relevant managers, in the focus areas of Accounts Receivables & Inventory & Depot operations to suitably support management decisions as well as monthly management reports.
-Responsible for overseeing the credit management functions and adopts effective measures to ensure optimal credit control.
-Support CFO in efficient management of the working capital by implementing the company strategies in the AR & Inventory controls.
-Liaise with the auditors (both internal and external) of the company in the focus areas and implement follow up of the actions to be carried out of audit observations/ recommendations as directed by CFO
-Implement best practices systems and procedures for efficient functioning of depot operations, identifying opportunities for improvement, cost reduction, and systems enhancement; accumulating capital to fund expansion in the focus areas.
-Update job knowledge by remaining aware of new regulations; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
Qualifications: -
- Bachelor of Accounting/Finance together with professional accounting qualifications such as ACA /ACMA /ACCA or Masters of Business Administration (Finance) is preferable.
Experience: -
- 10+ years relevant experience at financial manager level in large business organisation and
- Working knowledge of ERP systems is mandatory.
- Analytical skills
- Effective written & verbal communication skills in English and working knowledge of Arabic.
- MS Office skills
