Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes, ensuring accuracy and adherence to US GAAP or IFRS.
  • Prepare and analyze complex financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, identifying key performance indicators.
  • Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls.
  • Research and resolve complex accounting issues, providing guidance and support to other team members.
  • Oversee the preparation of supporting schedules and documentation for external audits, providing clear and concise explanations to auditors.

Desired Candidate Profile

Core Responsibilities Financial Reporting: Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements, and equity statements. Coordinate the preparation of financial reports for internal and external stakeholders, including management, auditors, and regulatory agencies.

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field; a Master's degree or CPA/CA certification is highly preferred.
  • Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in financial reporting, with a strong understanding of US GAAP or IFRS.
  • Experience in a multinational corporation or public accounting firm is a plus, demonstrating a global perspective.
