Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

A leading company in Saudi Arabia, specialized in construction and finishing works, is looking to hire a Finishing Engineer.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise interior and exterior finishing works for residential and commercial projects.
  • Ensure execution with high quality and in accordance with drawings and technical specifications.

  • Manage and coordinate the work of finishing subcontractors, including painters, tilers, carpenters, and other specialists, ensuring timely completion and quality workmanship in alignment with project schedules.
  • Monitor and control finishing materials inventory, ensuring the availability of required materials and minimizing waste, including supervising the proper storage and handling of finishing materials.
  • Ensure that all finishing works comply with local regulations, fire safety codes, and environmental standards applicable in Saudi Arabia, including all relevant permits.
  • Provide technical guidance and training to finishing subcontractors and site personnel, enhancing their skills and promoting best practices in finishing techniques and safety protocols.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering.
  • Minimum 3 years of direct experience in finishing works, with a total of at least 5 years of professional experience.
  • Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD and Excel.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent communication skills and effective coordination with different teams.
