Roles & Responsibilities
- Conduct regular inspections of fire alarm systems to ensure compliance with local safety regulations and codes.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on fire alarm equipment, documenting all work completed for future reference.
- Install new fire alarm systems according to manufacturer specifications and local codes, ensuring optimal functionality.
- Respond promptly to service calls, diagnosing issues with fire alarm systems and implementing effective solutions.
Desired Candidate Profile
- High school diploma or equivalent, with additional technical training in fire alarm systems preferred.
- Relevant certifications such as NICET (National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies) Fire Alarm Systems Level I or II.
- 2-5 years of hands-on experience in fire alarm installation and maintenance, demonstrating proficiency in the field.
- Familiarity with NFPA (National Fire Protection Association) codes and standards related to fire alarm systems.
