Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of firefighting equipment to ensure optimal functionality during emergencies.
- Respond swiftly to fire alarms and emergency calls, assessing situations and implementing effective firefighting strategies.
- Utilize advanced firefighting techniques and equipment, including hoses, extinguishers, and aerial ladders, while adhering to safety regulations.
- Collaborate with emergency response teams to coordinate fire suppression efforts and ensure timely evacuation of affected areas.
Desired Candidate Profile
- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in fire science or a related field is preferred.
- Certification as a Firefighter and completion of a recognized firefighting training program is essential.
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in firefighting or emergency services is required.
- National certifications in hazardous materials handling and rescue operations are a plus.
