Roles & Responsibilities

The Fit-Out Construction Manager will be responsible for leading and managing all fit-out construction activities on site, ensuring works are executed in accordance with project specifications, approved drawings, quality standards, project schedules, and client requirements, while coordinating multidisciplinary teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery within budget and timeline.

Key Accountabilities

The position involves:

  • Lead and supervise all fit-out and architectural construction activities on site from initiation to handover.
  • Manage daily site operations to ensure work progress aligns with approved schedules, quality standards, and project objectives.
  • Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, procurement, design, and MEP teams to ensure smooth execution of fit-out works.
  • Review and monitor shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and construction sequences before execution.
  • Ensure proper execution of ceilings, partitions, flooring, wall finishes, joinery, furniture, decorative works, and all interior fit-out activities.
  • Monitor subcontractors performance, productivity, manpower allocation, and compliance with project requirements.
  • Ensure all materials and workmanship comply with approved specifications, mock-ups, and client expectations.
  • Identify project risks, site constraints, delays, and technical issues, and implement corrective and recovery actions when required.
  • Conduct regular progress meetings and coordinate with stakeholders to resolve construction and site-related issues.
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations, quality procedures, and company standards across all site activities.
  • Monitor project progress, track milestones, and ensure timely completion of fit-out works.
  • Support testing, snagging, inspections, and handover activities to achieve successful project close-out.
  • Prepare and review daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports and construction updates for management.
  • Control site resources, material usage, and construction costs to support project profitability and efficiency.
  • Ensure proper documentation and maintenance of construction records, reports, RFIs, and site instructions.

Desired Candidate Profile

We are Looking for: br>

  • Bachelor s degree in architecture engineering.
  • Minimum 10 15 years of experience in fit-out and construction projects.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a managerial or construction management role.
  • Proven experience in high-end hospitality, retail, commercial, F&B, luxury residential, and mixed-use fit-out projects.
  • Strong experience in managing full fit-out construction lifecycle from mobilization to handover.
  • Excellent knowledge of fit-out construction methods, interior finishes, joinery, ceilings, flooring, wall cladding, and decorative works.
  • Strong understanding of project planning, scheduling, budgeting, subcontractor management, and site coordination.
  • Experience in managing multiple subcontractors, consultants, and site teams simultaneously.
  • Good understanding of QA/QC procedures, HSE standards, snagging, testing, and handover processes.
  • Ability to manage project timelines, resource allocation, and site productivity efficiently.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, Primavera P6, and project management tools.
  • Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, reporting, and stakeholder management skills.
