Desired Candidate Profile

Education

Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Transport Management, or related field.

Certification in Fleet or Transport Management is a plus.

Technical & Functional Skills

Experience in route planning, fuel monitoring, and vehicle scheduling.

Knowledge of vehicle maintenance cycles, repair tracking, and vendor coordination.

Familiarity with fleet management software/GPS tracking systems.

Compliance & Documentation

Ensure compliance with municipality food transport regulations.

Responsible for maintaining proper vehicle documentation, driver permits, and insurance renewals.

Maintain records for vehicle inspection, maintenance, and accident reports.

Operational Responsibilities

Daily coordination with drivers for delivery timelines, vehicle assignments, and route efficiency.

Monitor vehicle conditions and ensure timely maintenance to avoid downtime.

Manage breakdowns, replacements, and emergency arrangements during delivery.

People Management

Supervise and manage drivers’ schedules, attendance, and performance.

Ensure drivers follow hygiene, safety, and temperature control protocols during food deliveries.

Soft Skills

Strong communication and coordination skills.

Problem-solving and quick decision-making ability under pressure.

Good leadership and team handling skills.
