Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Oversee vehicle maintenance schedules to ensure fleet reliability and safety, minimizing downtime and repair costs.
- Analyze fleet performance data to identify trends and implement strategies for optimization, enhancing efficiency and reducing expenses.
- Manage fuel consumption and costs by implementing effective fuel management programs and monitoring usage patterns.
- Develop and enforce policies for driver safety and compliance, ensuring adherence to local regulations and industry standards.
- Coordinate the acquisition and disposal of vehicles, negotiating with vendors to secure the best terms and conditions.
- Conduct regular audits of fleet operations and records to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is essential for understanding the complexities of fleet operations.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in fleet management or a similar role, showcasing a strong background in vehicle operations.
- Fleet management certification from recognized institutions, demonstrating commitment to industry standards and best practices.
- Experience in the transportation or logistics industry, providing insight into fleet dynamics and regulatory landscapes.
- Proficiency in fleet management software and tools, enabling efficient tracking and reporting of fleet performance.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret data and make informed decisions that drive fleet efficiency.
- Excellent communication abilities, both verbal and written, to effectively convey policies and collaborate with team members.
