Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

As a Flight Instructor, you will be responsible for delivering both ground and in-flight training to student pilots. You will play a key role in shaping their aviation skills, promoting a safety-first mindset, and preparing them for certifications and future aviation careers.

Key Responsibilities

Flight Instruction & Student Development

  • Conduct comprehensive flight and ground training for students, tailored to individual learning needs.
  • Instruct students in aircraft systems, navigation, aviation regulations, and flight operations.
  • Prepare students for check rides and ensure they meet all certification and proficiency standards.
  • Conduct pre-flight briefings, in-flight training, and post-flight debriefings to track student progress.
  • Provide continuous mentorship and feedback to enhance student development.

Safety & Compliance

  • Ensure all training activities strictly comply with GCAA safety and operational standards.
  • Maintain complete and accurate training records, flight logs, and regulatory documentation.
  • Perform pre-flight inspections and ensure aircraft are safe and fully prepared for flight operations.

Aircraft Oversight

  • Coordinate with the maintenance department to ensure the airworthiness and availability of training aircraft.
  • Identify and report technical issues, ensuring timely resolution to maintain training continuity.

Team Collaboration & Leadership

  • Work collaboratively with fellow instructors to maintain consistency in training delivery and student assessment.
  • Mentor junior instructors and share best practices in instructional techniques and safety protocols.

Desired Candidate Profile

Licensing & Certification

  • Valid Commercial Pilot License (CPL)
  • Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) License
  • FAA Authorization

Flight Experience

  • Minimum of 1,500 total flight hours
  • Experience flying Diamond aircraft (preferred)

Education & Medical

  • Bachelor s degree (minimum requirement)
  • Valid Class 1 Medical Certificate
  • Height: 175 cm | Weight: 75 kg

Technical & Instructional Skills

  • Solid knowledge of aircraft systems, operations, and basic maintenance practices
  • Strong instructional, mentoring, and communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and make critical decisions related to flight safety

Language Proficiency

  • Proficient in English (spoken and written) Required

Preferred Age Range

  • 30 40 years (for operational and standardization purposes)
