Food & Beverage Manager will manage the food and beverage operations of the hotel to ensure the achievement of food and beverage quality, guest service quality standards, departmental revenue and profit goals. Demonstrates knowledge and proficiency of all applicable food and beverage laws and regulations. Develops and implements business plan of Food and Beverage Department. The role includes key responsibilities such as:
Adhering to local regulations concerning health, safety, or other compliance requirements, as well as brand standards and local policies and procedures.
Managing the day-to-day operation of the Food and Beverage sections
Controlling and analyzing, on an on-going basis, the following: sales, costs, quality and presentation of food and beverage products, service standards, quality of entertainment, guest satisfaction and marketing.
Develops menus and beverage lists offering guests value for money in accordance with AccorHotels guidelines.
Plans and organizes successful Food and Beverage activities/promotions/events. Evaluates effectiveness of activities and promotions.
Conducting daily briefings, Food and Beverage Meetings and other meetings as needed to obtain optimal results
Sets Food and Beverage goals and develops strategies towards meeting them
Sets Food and Beverage policies & procedures, SOPs
Monitors local competitors and compare their operation with the hotel Food and Beverage operation, in order to design and maintain the optimum offer at all times
Responsible for the manpower planning
Prepares and manages the Department s budget
Responsible on delivering optimum and well balanced P&L statement of the Department
Maintains knowledge of trends, systems, practices and equipment in food and beverage through trade literature, hotel show and site visits
Oversees all culinary, restaurant, beverage and room service operations.
Creates and nurtures a property environment that emphasizes motivation, empowerment, teamwork, continuous improvement and a passion for providing positive customer experience.
Creates a learning atmosphere to all Food & Beverage team members with a focus on continuous improvement.
Encourages and builds mutual trust, respect, and cooperation among team members.
Ensures and maintains high productivity level of employees.
Desired candidate should be a Hotel Management graduate with a minimum of 4 years relevant experience. Must be computer literate with effective communication skills and an excellent command of written and spoken English.
