To Supervise and carry out Painting and Cleaning for Ship repair works within quality, health, safety and environment standards as established within ODC.
Controls and Leads skilled labour and work crews engaged in all activities concerned with cleaning, washing blasting and coating on ship projects.
Ensure optimal utilization of resources (manpower, equipment and materials) to ensure efficient and timely completion of works as per the plans issued by Project Engineers.
Maintain good communication and should be able to give instructions in an effective way to work- force and ensure proper discipline is maintained on the work site for effective control of work timing, prevent unsafe work practices.
Ability to read, interpret and follow product data sheets, method statements and procedures. Competent in understanding daily work related documents and maintain records of the day’s work and attendance.
Liaises with other department foreman to ensure optimal interaction between different groups with the overall objective of successful completion of project.
Distribute paints as per the work plan for the day. Ensure correct components are distributed as per paint specification and quantity as instructed by paint representative.
Familiar with and enforces strict compliance with all QA/QC and HSSE procedures, plus all company rules and regulations.

Follow all relevant Production Control departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
