Key Responsibilities: Supervise and coordinate the activities of carpenters and assembly workers in the cabinet manufacturing area. Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and design specifications to guide production. Ensure all cabinetry is manufactured and assembled to quality standards and customer specifications. Assign daily tasks and monitor productivity, ensuring work stays on schedule. Train new workers on tools, machinery, safety procedures, and production techniques. Inspect finished cabinets for quality, accuracy, and consistency. Work closely with designers, engineers, and project managers to resolve production issues. Maintain a clean and safe working environment in compliance with health and safety regulations. Monitor inventory of materials and report shortages to the purchasing department. Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to increase efficiency. Qualifications: Proven experience (5+ years) in carpentry, specifically in kitchen cabinet manufacturing. 2+ years in a supervisory or foreman role within a production or woodworking environment. Strong understanding of woodworking machinery, hand tools, and cabinet assembly processes. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. Solid leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Familiarity with workplace safety standards (e.g., OSHA). Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
