Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  1. Supervise and coordinate daily activities of the false ceiling and painting teams on site.

  2. Ensure work is carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, and project timelines.

  3. Inspect and maintain the quality of workmanship, ensuring compliance with company and UAE standards.

  4. Allocate tasks to workers, monitor progress, and provide guidance or training as needed.

  5. Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and subcontractors to resolve technical or operational issues.

  6. Ensure proper handling, storage, and use of materials, tools, and equipment on site.

  7. Maintain safety standards and enforce adherence to UAE safety regulations on site.

  8. Prepare daily reports on work progress, labor attendance, and material consumption.

  9. Identify potential issues or delays and implement corrective actions to meet project deadliline

Desired Candidate Profile

  1. Minimum 2–15 years of relevant experience in false ceiling (gypsum, aluminum, or other systems) and painting works.

  2. Proven experience as a Foreman / Chargehand in civil contracting or interior fit-out projects in the UAE.

  3. Strong knowledge of materials, installation techniques, surface preparation, and finishing standards.

  4. Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and project plans.

  5. Leadership skills with the ability to manage teams efficiently.

  6. Familiarity with UAE construction safety standards and quality control procedures.

  7. Good communication skills and ability to coordinate with multiple teams.
