Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Supervise installation of fire fighting systems including sprinklers, hydrants, hose reels, fire pumps, foam systems, and related piping.
- Read and interpret approved drawings, layouts, and specifications.
- Coordinate daily site activities and assign work to technicians and helpers.
- Ensure work is carried out in compliance with NFPA standards, project requirements, and HSE regulations.
- Conduct inspections, pressure testing, flushing, and commissioning support.
- Coordinate with QA/QC, HSE, engineers, and client representatives.
- Maintain daily work reports, material usage, and manpower records.
- Identify site issues and report to the Fire Fighting Engineer / Site Engineer.
Desired Candidate Profile
Education: Diploma or Technical Certification in Fire Fighting Mechanical, or related field.
- Experience: Minimum 5-7 years of experience in HVAC ductwork installation, with at least 2-3 years in a supervisory role, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
- Technical Knowledge: Proficient in various HVAC ducting systems, including sheet metal, insulated, and flexible ducts.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications in HVAC installation and safety are an advantage.
- HSE Knowledge: Strong understanding of HSE regulations and best practices in the oil and gas industry.
