Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Supervise daily plumbing activities across residential, commercial, and industrial projects.
Read, understand, and execute works as per approved shop drawings, coordination drawings, and specifications.
Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of plumbing and drainage systems (water supply, sewage, waste, pumps, water heaters, storm water, external networks, etc.).
Ensure all installations comply with relevant local authority regulations.
Lead and supervise plumbers, helpers, and assistants; assign tasks and monitor daily productivity.
Ensure availability and efficient use of materials, tools, and equipment, control wastage.
Report daily progress, delays, and site issues; assist during consultant/client inspections.
Coordinate with civil, electrical, HVAC, fire and other trades to avoid clashes.
Enforce HSE rules and ensure all team members follow safety procedures and PPE requirements and conduct toolbox talks.
Desired Candidate Profile
ITI / Diploma in Plumbing / Mechanical or equivalent technical qualification
5–7 years’ experience in plumbing and drainage works
Strong understanding of plumbing systems, materials, sanitary fixtures, valves, fittings, authority guidelines, and installation methods
Sound knowledge in infrastructure storm water and water supply networks
Experience in different types of piping systems including HDPE and GRP
Experience in Industrial type projects
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
Proven ability to lead teams and manage site productivity
Good communication and reporting skills
Basic computer literacy and able to use MS word and excel for daily reporting, material list and documentation
IOSH safety certificate is recommended.
